Tayfun Erdoğmuş creates a natural alphabeth that seems “written” in fine lines with flowers and leaves giving the impression that they conceal a sacred text. In these works Erdoğmuş touches upon an alphabet which modern Turkey has left behind, and on certain abandoned artistic traditions with which we are thoroughly out of touch today.
